Training Programs
Green Training
Nothing But Green Living Enterprises specializes in “Green” Floor cleaning and general purpose cleaning. Technicians are taught how to clean with Eco-Friendly products which consist of less products and less quantities than what is used in traditional cleaning. Training includes class room training, hands on training, and an examination to verify competency.
Technicians are taught how to use “Green” products to strip, prep, and finish floors with environmentally safe products. Finally, they are taught how to maintain finished floors and clean an entire building with (3) products.
Hard Surface Training (Certification)
Hard Surface Training is done in conjunction and under the guidance of the IICRC. Technicians are taught how to differentiate various categories of Hard Surface Floor Coverings. In addition, they are taught different floor cleaning cycles to include Initial, Routine, Periodic, and Restorative cleaning.
Safety is a hallmark of cleaning and is a key feature of this training. Safety is not only for the individual as it relates to (Personal Protective Equipment), but there is also a focus on Environmental Safety inside and outside a building. Chemical Safety (MSDS sheets) is explored as well as a review of equipment use and safety as well.
Hard Surface Training will consist of Class room training, hands on training, and also an examination for certification. Success completion of training and passing of the examination will certify the Technician in eight countries. This prepares the technician for future entrepreneur ventures.
On The Job Training (OJT)
OJT is a key component of our training program. We believe the quickest way for an unskilled employee to learn a new task is to work with a skilled technician. The Skilled technician is a person who knows how to do the job and understands the tools necessary to perform the task at hand.
With this training mindset, communication barriers are broken down as OJT allows greater focus on the job to be performed. This normally ends successfully as peers communicate more openly with each other. Nothing But Green Living Enterprises has an OJT program currently in place and the company works closely with “One Stop” to employ top talent.
